Former President of the Brazilian Football Federation Imprisoned 4 Years in Bribery Case


Former president of the Brazilian Football Federation in America has been sentenced to four years after being convicted of bribery.
According to America Media, New York's federal court convicted former Brazilian Football president Jose Maria Marin to be sentenced to 4 years in FIFA bribe case. The court also ordered Jose Maria Marin to pay $1.2 million fine and also ordered for pay $3.3 million. The 86 years old Jose Maria Marin proved to have been accused of bribery for broadcasting the advertisement of various football tournaments.

US District Judge Pamela Chen, in Brooklyn, New York, passed the remarks while making a decision that he would like to give a tough message to the criminals through the decision that there is no above of the law. American jury had terminated Marin in December last year. A total of 42 people and organizations  were involved in the corruption of millions of dollars came out of which 24 has been admitted his crimes.
