Well, this is possibly one of the more embarrassing moments in modern cricket history.
Getting a wicket is fantastic. As a bowler, the feeling of domination over your opponent surges through you, and sometimes, a celebration needs to come out. No matter what level you are playing in, whether it be for your country or park cricket, that feeling never dies. Just ask Pakistani bowler Hasan Ali how exciting getting a scalp can be.
Playing for his nation against Zimbabwe in an ODI at Bulawayo, Ali was so pumped up when taking a wicket, he injured himself. The 24-year-old looked in serious pain in the immediate aftermath, but the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed that no serious injury occurred.
Pakistan went onto claim victory in the second ODI by nine wickets after restricting their opponents to 194. Fakhar Zaman scored an unbeaten century for the tourists in the chase, and they now lead the five-match ODI series 2-0.
